Pinnacle Lighting Group is growing and recently hired four new full time employees to assist and enhance Pinnacle’s expansion in sales, customer service and operations.
Tom Burks, VP of Operations. Tom, is the brother of the Founder/CEO of Pinnacle Lighting Group, Jim Burks. The two have worked together in the past managing and distributing a very successful cantaloup brokerage business in Georgia, Missouri, and Ohio. Tom, is an undergraduate of the University of Georgia , and graduate of Keller Graduate School of Business, in Project Management, spent the last 23 years in education with Forsyth, GA School district, with the past seven years as an Instructional Technology Specialist. “After retiring from the school district, I was looking for a new adventure and looking forward to traveling and meeting new people and working on beautiful projects”, explains Tom. “And I like the idea of working with my brother Jim again.”
Kelly Yoder, Purchasing & Inventory Control Administrator. Like Tom, Kelly, is a relative and the niece of the Founder/CEO of PLG Jim Burks. Kelly comes to Pinnacle after ten years of working at a long term nursing facility as an assistant business manager. “I was ready for a change, and love the idea of working with my family and how well the company is doing, doing some awesome things, that I wanted to be a part of” says Kelly.
Ryan Marasti, Assistant Operations Manager. Ryan is a native of Pittsburgh, PA and attended Heidelberg University in Tiffin, OH where he received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Business Administration. Actually, while Ryan was finishing out his master’s degree, he began working with Pinnacle on a part time basis and has worked his way in an Assistant Operations Manager. “Pinnacle is a forward moving company and has a bright future. The opportunity to work for a successful company going in the right direction, is very exciting”, tells Ryan.
Jake Bartley, Crew Supervisor. Jake comes to Pinnacle with a construction and property management background in the OH area. Jake’s father is in the industry as well and heard about an open position within Pinnacle. Jake jumped at the opportunity. Jake will be responsible for supervising onsite crews and managing everyday property installations, making sure each and every customer is satisfied. “I like the idea of traveling around the country, while I’m still young, and to have new challenges ”, exclaims Jake. “I also like the idea of working with a growing company that creates beautiful architectural and landscape lighting.”
